In 2009 The Projects Group was hired to begin Project Manager/Owner Representation for a conceptual design of The Gaillard Center in Charleston, SC. Following the conceptual design approval to move forward with the design and construction by the City of Charleston in 2010, TPG was contracted to provide Project Management for the design and construction for the duration of the Project.
The Gaillard Center consists of both renovation and new construction which will be comprised of an 1800 seat auditorium with state of the art acoustics, a banquet hall with a full kitchen, 80,000 SF of office space, and supporting FOH/BOH facilities. The Project is located in historic downtown Charleston, SC. Funding is through both private and public funds.
