About the Projects Group The Projects Group has a very select, highly qualified staff of design and construction professionals with expertise in all areas of project development. - We are able to manage the process and guide the Owner through the full scope of development, from feasibility studies, conceptualization, design and on through completion.
- We assist in the development of project budgets and provide comprehensive cost control and reporting over the course of the project.
- We have a well-developed program to assist the Owner in selecting the architects, engineers, contractors and other professional consultants required that assures the entire project team is tailored for the specific needs of the project.
- Our strengths include not only our expertise in the industry, but also our team building and leadership skills, which may include multiple design teams, consultants and/or contractors that are essential to the success of complex and specialized projects.
- Our approach to the project begins with understanding thoroughly the Owner’s goals.The primary focus of our efforts is to represent the Owner’s interests and deliver a product that meets or exceeds their expectations for quality, function, cost and schedule.
The Projects Group is committed to Sustainable Design and the Green Building Initiative We have LEED AP accredited project managers on our staff and have set a goal to promote all of our project managers and senior staff in becoming LEED accredited. We believe that the current movement towards energy efficient design, construction and facility management will become the standard for all projects of significance to the public. The Projects Group is a member of the USGBC and actively participates in its programs. We have been fortunate to have managed the following LEED accredited projects: LEED Gold: Botanical Research Institute of Texas - Fort Worth, TX LEED Silver: St. Marks School of Texas - Dallas, TX LEED Silver: Smith Center for the Performing Arts - Las Vegas, NV LEED Silver: Bexar County Performing Arts Center - San Antonio, TX We are currently in the programming and planning stages for the following projects: LEED Platinum: Tarrant County College South Campus Energy Technology Center - Fort Worth , TX LEED Gold: Tarrant County College Alliance Aviation Technology Building - Fort Worth, TX
